Bio:
Brea's inner vision has led her to express the deepest part of herself through music. Brea's fan base can relate and identify with her music. As her music has matured Brea has been able to focus on the things that are most important to her. Brea and her keyboardist Braiden Turner, both Ottawa teens, joined RespectED (a national Canadian Red Cross program) to create the Black and Purple Campaign to Prevent Bullying. The campaign is named after a song on Breanne's CD Ready to Fly. Brea is working with WaterCan to help improve the lives of people in developing countries by increasing their access to safe drinking water, basic sanitation, and hygiene education. Brea has also dedicated time to assist with the Ottawa schools' breakfast program.
When Brea announced to her fan base that she needed their help with her first video, she was awed by the response. Busloads of her fans packed the auditorium for her video concert scene, and cheered and sang along to her songs. Her hectic video shooting schedule took her through the months of September, October and November, 2004. The music video entitled, "I Will Be", was shot on location in various Lake Erie districts as well as in two Ottawa locations.
"Through my songs I want to explore the many feelings I experienced growing up. The feelings of being misunderstood and undervalued. It was a tramatic experience to be picked on in my early teens. It took my voice to give me the guts to express myself."
Brea's dramatic vocals, her passion and her unique writing style define her as "an original"! As Breanne says in her video "My dream is not about the fame and fortune, it's more about doing the thing that I love most in the world...singing...and if I want to sing for the rest of my life, why not make it a career right? ...so that I can do the thing that I love, for my whole entire life...and learn to be good at it every day."
