Bio:
“Watch out country music, there’s a new set of guns in town.” This is the quote from Kickradio’s host Silverfox of Brittany Clarke, who is currently living her dream singing and performing country music. She has also gained the attention of several major labels in Nashville. A southern Illinois native, Brittany travels to and from Nashville on a regular basis. Brittany recently recorded new songs at the prestigious Hilltop Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The first of these new songs, “If That Chair Could Talk,” is due to be released to radio nationwide the first week of January 2008. Previews of this song have been very strong.
This past year has been very busy for Brittany. She works with HMG Nashville and has had several exciting opportunities. Last year was the first year she attended CRS and she is looking forward to that convention again in February. She also sang at BB Kings in Nashville during the CMA's, and has had the opportunity to showcase in front of major labels.
This year Brittany was very busy as the lead singer of the band Troublebound. They played both Illinois State Fairs, several independent shows, and opened for Jamie O’Neal.
She now holds the 2007 North American Country Music Association International titles for Most Promising Female Entertainer, and the Horizon Award for Female Vocalist. With her last album “Dream” she also holds the title of Best New Album. She will again be representing Illinois in the National competition in Pigeon Forge, TN in March of 2008. Her single release from “Dream”, titled “Good Old Fashion Romance” was released in February of 2007 and jumped onto the Music Row Charts in June. It stayed on those charts for 13 weeks.
Keep an eye out for Brittany, she is running fast toward her dream and intends to take no prisoners!!
