Bio:
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Cori Jean Anderson began singing as early as she began walking.  Relocating with her family to Evansville, Indiana, she continued to develop her talent performing in community plays and school productions.  Always a standout, Cori Jean, who was once described by one newspaper writer as "a little girl with a big voice", was usually the featured vocalist.

After graduating from high school in 1999, Cori Jean was certain that music was her passion and attended Georgia Southern University as a vocal performance major but quickly came to the attention of producers in Atlanta. Cori Jean began performing with her country/rock band,
Wichita, and traveled across the southeast getting rave reviews from the fans and the club owners. Cori Jean was asked to perform at Nashville's world famous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge on a regular basis. Cori Jean & Wichita were named best unsigned band in Georgia as well as being nominated for Georgia Country Music Entertainer of the Year. She also performed in the Regional Finals of Nashville Star in January 2005 in Austin, Texas.

Cori Jean has recently relocated to Nashville after years of showcasing her talent in the Atlanta area. She is a member of ASCAP and CMA.
