Bio:
I was born on August 28th, 1978 at Carbondale Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL. I was conceived to a 15 year old mother and was brought into this world, Heather Hogan. After a few years my little sister and I were placed into foster care and later taken in by a couple who couldn't have children. When I was about 5, my mother heard me singing and decided to get me interested. From the beginning I was hooked. I have never had to wonder what I would do with my life. I always knew. I guess you could say the rest is history. You know, throughout my life I've been through alot. I've been abused, I've seen abuse, lost a child and almost lost another,only to have her permanently brain damaged, and been raped among other things. I think everything happens for a reason. I know this may sound strange but I believe these bad things happened to me because I was supposed to get out in song what I'd been through. My music could help someone. I once had a good friend tell me, " if everything someone goes through makes em' stronger, you must be Hercules!!" All I got to say about that is that everyone survives more than they imagine they could. But to her comment, yes. I'm like steele because of what I've been through. Like alot of other ppl I imagine. To all those folks," stay strong!" To all my friends and fans alike, I'm not goin anywhere anytime soon. I hope to enjoy making music for you as long as I can. God bless.
