Bio:
Kay Story makes music that makes you feel good. Rock, country and pop come together with big hooks and lyrics that tell a story in each song, leaving you wanting more. Born outside of Seattle, Washington, Kay grew up dancing, singing, and winning contests and scholarships as a violinist, pianist, and singer. Dreams of stardom led her to New York where within a year, she was performing on Broadway in hits like Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Annie. Hungry for more, Kay began honing her skills as a songwriter. She recorded demos and started playing New York landmarks like The Bitter End regularly. As a featured singer on tour with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Kay met guitarist/songwriter/producer Damon LaScot, and started an exciting collaboration
.

She wrote and recorded "Bring It", the theme song for the Women's National Football League, and her song "Never Forget You" was featured on the 2002 compilation CD for The Garland Appeal, a breast cancer charity honoring Linda McCartney. Her award-winning song “Superhero”, featured on the 2005 Songwriter’s Hall of Fame compilation CD. Kay has also produced and performed in several benefit concerts including the 911 Firefighters Relief Fund and Orphan International’s Roosevelt Island House benefit, building an orphanage in Sumatra, Indonesia for child survivors of the 2004 Tsunami.
