Bio:
I have been very fortunate to have shared the stage with some of the finest musicians and singers in the Austin, TX area. In 1996 I was given the opportunity to front the Shiner, TX based band "The Emotions". That was a great learning experience for me. I worked with some very talented people such as Mark Tracy, Rob Wright, Steve Carson, Suzanne Karr, Calvin Drozd, Tony Deharde, Ronnie Vaughn and Jeff Chance Jr. I also had the privilege of working with Mr. Angelo Serrato before we lost him to a fatal car accident. He was one of the greatest guitar players I have ever heard and a great friend. Those of us who were fortunate enough to have known him miss him very much. I want to give a shout-out to Travis Kremling (sound board) and David Arnold (lights). You guys ROCKED!!! I even got to meet Mr. Chris Cagle before he was "THE" Chris Cagle! The absolute highlight of my entire musical career had to be the Rodeo Clowns. This was the coolest project I have ever been a part of! Rob Wright, Steve Carson, Peter Hyrka and Tony Deharde were a blast to showcase and record with. I guess we were just too far ahead of our time! Oh well, it was Nashville's loss as far as I'm concerned. After I retired from the Emotions in the fall of 2000, I moved to Austin, TX where I soon began to yearn for a return to the stage. As luck would have it, Misti my beautiful, new bride took me to see some of her old friends, the People's Choice band. It just so happened that their lead singer was retiring and they were looking for a replacement. Problem solved!!! I spent the next 4 years working with this legendary Austin, TX based group of bad-asses! Howard T. Levine, Bucky Buchanan, James Hembree, Vince Batla and Brian Brinkmeyer were all great to work with. Thanks for your patience with me and my "day job"! Also thanks for helping me record some of my songs! (They worked with me on How Do You Tell A Lady and a couple of other songs.) I can't forget Steve Humford (drums) and Rocky (lights), it was a pleasure working with y'all as well. I retired from People's Choice New Year's Eve, 2004 and currently I am taking a break to try and figure out what to do with myself and my music. I would like to do some recording in the near future. I have written a few more songs that I haven't had the opportunity to record yet. I really don't want these songs to go to waste. They are a part of my life as well as everything else I have done. Those songs have been through a lot with me!!! I am really starting to miss the live gigs. You don't really appreciate having such a cool "job" until you go out and work in the real world. I miss the fans!!! So for all the musicians that are still in the "work place", "Don't EVER quit!".
