I have worked in sponsorship sales on event sponsorships and promotions for several years on behalf of the Affiliated Foods Midwest grocery cooperative of Norfolk, NE, Elwood, KS and Kenosha, WI.

The two festivals I am currently working with for AFM are the 15th Affiliated Food Midwest Country Stampede in Manhattan, KS, and Country Thunder USA at Twin Lakes, WI. 

Country Stampede KS Weekend is June 24-27, 2010.

Country Thunder USA WI Weekend is July 23-26, 2010.

In addition, I worked in sponsorships sales and on grocery vendor programs for Great Empire Broadcasting's Omaha, Nebraska, Country Music Radio Stations WOW AM & FM for 6 1/2 years, as well as sports sponsorships for the University of Nebraska Athletic Department for Cornhuskers Football for a period of 4 years.

I have been a web master for many Information-Marketing™ web sites on the PediaNetwork™ for over 5 years. The PediaNetwork™ has been on-line since 1995. It is owned by Information Superbrand, Inc. (ISI) of Irvine, CA. ISI is an Information-Marketing™ company using the Net to help all kinds of businesses and artists get effective, efficient, and economical web advertising and marketing in today's Internet oriented, consumer centric, engagement focused economic world. Both the music and movie industries have GOT to change the way they market themselves to survive and thrive; they have to go where the people are...on the Net; and give them what they want...enough information to make purchasing decisions. I am currently working with my main client on developing a grocery store web-network under the GroceryPedia.com umbrella.

The philosophy of ISI is explained in depth (reading list is excellent) at their home web site www.superbrand.net. The goal is to do far more that just run flash card, banner, or text ads like a newspaper in front of people like other aggregating web sites are doing...far more!

My favorite genre of music is Country and my favorite stars are Reba McEntire, Kellie Pickler and Julianne Hough.

This is a 1990's era pic of Reba and me when I worked at WOW AM & FM radio in Omaha, NE. My daughter found this photo recently in her archive of family pictures and I am so glad she held onto a copy of it!

This was one of many Meet and Greets with Reba and picture was taken the weekend she filmed her Thanksgiving TV special in Omaha. She signed the back of this grouping I made. It still hangs proudly in my office!

This is my latest most sought after Meet and Greet in my years of Country Music sponsorship sales and radio promotions; with Julianne Hough in Kansas City, on August 1, 2008. 

She was appearing as the Opening Act of the 2008 Hershey's Brad Paisley Party Tour. Her performance, though short at 20 minutes, was great and she is again kicking up her heels on Season VII of "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC-TV with boy friend, and fellow country Music Artist, Chuck Wicks.

Julianne recently won Top New Female ACM Artist for 2009 and is in the running for Top New ACM Artist of 2009 at the ACM Awards in Las Vegas.

I was very please to meet Julianne at the 14th Affiliated Country Stampede in Manhattan, Kansas on Thursday June 25, 2009, with Luke Bryan, LoCash Cowboys, and Creedence Clearwater Revisited kicking off the four-days of this huge Country Music festival. Got my second "Meet & Greet" with her on June 25th.

In the Summer of '09, Julianne scored yet another great tour appearing at many dates of the George Strait '09 Tour. Also got a long-awaited "Meet & Greet" with the beautiful American Idol and Country Music rising star Kellie Pickler at Country Stampede this year.

Had one of the BIGGEST celeb "Meet & Greets" EVER with Alan Jackson at Country Thunder, WI this July. I don't ask for these too often; rather have my clients get them. This country music super star "M&G" had been offered to me over 15 years ago. I missed a chance twice in my radio days in the 1990's to meet him. The media coordinator at Country Thunder called with a special invitation for my sponsor and I got to acompany him on this fantastic opportunity.
